The Landings at Sugarloaf- Duluth, GA
This specific property, The Landings at Sugarloaf in Duluth, GA, contains 12 townhome buildings. The buildings are comprised of 70 individual units that have been painting in a phased approach over 5 years, beginning in 2013. 2017 marked the final phase of painting to include the four buildings which remained. As with the other phases of this project, we have used premium quality Sherwin-Williams products for a long-lasting finish. In addition to the initial exterior painting scope, we:
- Painted the metal roofing over a number of garages and gables contained within the 2017 phase of buildings.
- Addressed carpentry repairs as needed.
- Cleaned out all gutters during the pressure washing portion of the project.
- Pressure-cleaned the rear patios, as well as the front driveways and sidewalks for all unites focused on during the 2017 work phase.

Retail Projects
Sweet Apple Village in Roswell, GA
The exterior of the Sweet Apple Village shopping center was showing signs of wear in the form of fading paint surfaces, cracks at joints and seams, and some wood/carpentry damage. The owners of the complex wanted to provide a clean, update appearance for their tenant’s customers. Having used CertaPro Painters for other painting projects in the past, the commercial property manager asked us to repaint all six buildings. We addressed the maintenance issues via multiple carpentry repairs and a full preparation and painting of the buildings. For maximum fade-resistance we used premium quality Sherwin Williams products.
In order to be considerate to the businesses that were in operation during the painting project, we developed a comprehensive project plan. Our plan included:
- Notifications to clients of pressure-washing and painting activities.
- Full schedule and sequence of work published to the management company.
- Logistics meeting to coordinate parking, equipment staging, and material storage locations.
- Avoidance plan for specific retailers in order to work around prime operating hours, such as lunchtime for restaurants.
- Weekly updates on progress throughout the length of the project, including any adjustments to the plan that resulted from weather interruptions or other delays.
After completion of the Sweet Apple Villages painting project, we were invited to work on additional projects. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this client.

Hospitality
Comfort Suites in Stockbridge, GA
When the owners of the Comfort Suites hotel in Stockbridge, Georgia were ready for a color change to the exterior of the building they contacted CertaPro Painters of Atlanta. They knew that the sloping
driveway and steep retaining wall on the rear of the building would make it very difficult to access the upper reaches of the rear of the building. We worked with the Comfort Suites building designer to implement a new modern color scheme. We also employed three different types of aerial platform lifts, including a 65’ straight-arm boom lift, a 125’ articulating boom lift and a 40’ scissor lift to reach the various portions of the building. High quality 100% acrylic coatings were applied to ensure uniformity across all surfaces.
We completed the project in three weeks, over two weeks ahead of schedule. The owners were so happy with the project they hired us to paint another hotel that they own and manage, a Holiday Inn.
Church
Buckhead Church- Buckhead, GA
In 2008, CertaPro Painters of Atlanta began doing work for Buckhead Church, starting with a few small repaint projects. The building engineer liked CertaPro's knowledgeable staff and skilled professional painting crews. Soon CertaPro's consultant was helping develop maintenance painting budgets for upcoming years, providing free estimates on many areas throughout the facility that were in need of refreshing. CertaPro has painted almost every square inch of the sizable interior of the four story commercial facility since then, including the main Sanctuary/Auditorium and the 3 story Atrium lobby. Since styles and design changes have been made over the years, several areas have been painted more than once. The most challenging projects have included 40' aerial scissor lifts. CertaPro Painters enjoys working with the friendly staff that maintains this facility with over 7,000 people moving through it each week.

Flats at Riverwalk- Atlanta, GA
Flats at Riverwalk, located in Atlanta, has been a loyal return customer of CertaPro Painters of Atlanta since 2012. Our early projects included full repaints of the interior common area corridors in three of the buildings. In 2016 we were asked to paint the metal railings throughout the community as well as fire-curbs. In 2017 we completed our largest project for Flats at Riverwalk: A full exterior repainting of Buildings 1000, 2000, and 3000 and a full interior common area repaint of Building 4000. We are looking forward to a continued relationship at this property with the painting of Building 4000, their 4th and final building exterior, slated for Spring of 2018.
"Jeremy Rhett and the CertaPro team gave us top-notch service and excellent results on a major interior and exterior painting project.
